Adventure is out there— especially when it comes to flight attendants on Instagram. If you aren’t already following @flywithmeghan, @griffincbruehl, and @flightess — I don’t know what you have been doing with your life. (So get with that). There are other “undiscovered” flight attendants out there making a splash with their passion, personality, and experience. This blog features those less followed, more underrated Flight Attendant Instagrams that are hitting it out of the park when it comes to content and personality. There is no science to who was picked; except that each instagramer has under 10K followers at the time of writing, are current airline or corporate flight attendants, and share their inflight adventures, culinary pursuits, or fitness inspo to help us dream more expansively.

In my opinion, these five flight attendant instagram accounts I’m going to share with you should have more followers than they currently do right now. They are authentic, engaging, interesting, inspiring, motivating, and share their unique experience and skills in a way that builds up those around them.

@FlightTastings

I’m not exactly sure how I stumbled upon Karin’s instagram, but what first caught my attention about this Corporate Flight Attendant’s posts was that they were so relevant and shared some of what the corporate flight attendant industry focuses less on— aircraft safety! As a former airline flight attendant safety was the most important aspect of the job and as corporate flight attendants, we need reminders that safety is still number one. With years of experience and wisdom, Karin also advises on how-to write resumes, market yourself as a contract corporate flight attendant and create elegant culinary presentations inflight in her IGTV videos. By far, @flighttastings is the most rounded, relevant, and helpful “undiscovered” corporate flight attendant instagram account out there.

@babe_on_a_mish

She surfs. She enjoys colorful cocktails. She lives in Hawaii and her Instagram claims to be “colorful and all over the place….kinda like me.” (Spoiler alert: Tara tells a true story!) Of course, I would love this girl! This is @babe_on_a_mish; an airline flight attendant living the ‘Hi Life’ and making me miss those Island Vibes so much! Thankfully she shares the joy— whether it be layover adventures, her love for waves, or the feels of crazy flight schedules. In addition to a mandatory Instagram follow, make sure you check out this babe’s recently launched blog at www.babeonamish.com

@Intheairwithcurlyhair

Cassidy’s reputation is, “Cassidy cannot be mean and will always offer the sweetest smile no matter what is happening.” As a former Disney princess before becoming a Corporate Flight Attendant, Cassidy is all things lovely. Her inflight instagram, @intheairwithcurlyhair, is a showcase of the fact that this Darling practically lives in Europe (due to her flight schedule), as well as the elegant simplicity of mono-chromatic cheeseboards or a simple Gazpacho from Flora Farms in Cabo San Lucas. She’s inspiring, successful, professional, vibrant, and kind— all elements we can be motivated by.

@FitWorldFrancisco

There are some fit flight attendants out there, but this TAP Portugal cabin crew member has travel-fitness dialed to an entirely new level of excellence. I actually worked with Francisco once when I was with Norwegian Airlines (totally random and a long story)! His instagram @fitworldfransico will offer no excuses as to why you can’t be a fit flight attendant. Fitness is also a ‘family affair’— as he shares ‘couples workouts’ with his adventuring partner in crime and love of his life, Filespia.

@TrainDavinci

Curated by Scott D. Arnold, experienced aviation professional and partner of Davinci Inflight Training Institute, @TrainDavinci’s instagram really should have more followers. The photos of beautiful food presentations and table settings, that clients learn when going to the corporate flight attendant training courses, are shared FOR FREE on instagram. If you aren’t taking advantage of this opportunity to visually learn about the industry, you are doing yourself a disservice. Even if you aren’t a corporate flight attendant, you can find inspiration for throwing your next dinner party.

@a_girl_in_

I know we already mentioned five, but this post would not be complete without telling you about @a_girl_in_. Kristin, a former Emirates cabin crew member, has gone on to greater adventures as a travel photographer; seeing the world in an entirely new way with her Cinematogrpher and director love @andres_dupuis. Kristin inspires me that after Flight Attendant Life can be just as much fun and amazing as your existence during your aviation days. Life doesn’t end when you stop flying and @a_girl_in_ proves that in a stunning and inviting way.
